Animal Winter Games: Food Snatch

This is what I learned:

After 5 months in a lair of snow, a mother polar bear comes out with her babies. She hasn't eaten since she went in, 5 months ago. She is getting thinner by the day, so they all go out to find food. She must protect them, for baby polar bears are usually killed by male polar bears within the first month that they come out of their lair. She teaches her children how to get food, by breaking the ice and stealing seal cubs. The children usually play with their food and sometimes get into fights over food with their mother.
