The Article manily focuses on the differnt and major similarites between Humans and Great Apes [gorillas, chimpanzees, bonboms and orangutans]. How a lot of characteristics on Humans resemble most ones that Apes have as well. On thing we have in common is that we make and use tools and teach them to our offspring. A study conducted a decades ago stated that chimps are our evolutionary cousins , roughly 98% to 99% identical to humans. And studies also conducted that our DNA is closer to a chimps than a rat is to a mouse. Our genes are similar, but its not only genetics, its also how we have evolved from Apes in the past centuries. Also this article has a lot to do with Darwins Theory. It has to do with a lot of his ideas and perception of evolution, that Humans and African Apes are from a common ansestor.
This Article had a lot of more explanations of why we are so common to apes, but I diecied to focus on the pain points. It also helped me understand a lot about why we are compared and resemble apes so much and how Darwins Theory is tied into it.
