The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales
This book is about patients who come to Mr. Sacks' clinic, and what their diseases are. Mr. Sacks studied people with Tourette's syndrome, amnesia, tumors and strokes in the brain, and people who have lost the sense of feeling in certain oarts of the body, if not all. ("Phantoms") From "Witty Ticcy Ray"who has Tourette's to Donald who murdered his daughter under the influence of PCP.
This book captivated me from cover to cover. From the man who mistook his wife for a hat to the autist artist. It was very readable (at least to me), at times you might not know certain words (because they are scientific BIG words), BUT i think that you should read it too!
